Archimedes

I was all on board until the "I don't want to see any screen accurate" thing.

Good luck.

Yeah, I think the requirement to make "something different" and not a standard kit is what will sink this group build.

NucMedTech

Love that Rob.

Thanks, it was an interesting build that combined my two main genres of armor and sci-fi. It was not available for a long time; I think just one run by Fourth Axis. It requires the old TIE Interceptor base kit from ROTJ by MPC or one of the repops.

The side track pods are extremely heavy and actually required me to affix a screw to each one and then attach the cockpit portion to the screws. The conversion itself was rather rough and of course, the ancient MPC kit was not the best to begin with.

I guess this will be a no go then. Maybe think of something else.

I'm a tanker, in the Star Wars universe, I'd still be a tanker. I built this maybe 18-20 years ago. Such an impractical vehicle, but it is cool.

NucMedTech
starting May 4th (obviously) to season three premier of the Mandalorian in, I believe, December.

I'd love to get that Razor.

Hmmm, I got quite a bit on the bench for such a short lived GB but I'll see if I can get my x-wing or Stormtrooper out.

I would like to have at least 5 participants for the group build. More would be more fun though.

Stephen, normally I'd be happy to support you but SW is pretty much dead to me. I just don't care much about the series anymore. And I started two of Bish's SW GBs and didn't finish either of them so I kinda don't want to join another.

If you do need another member I'll root around and see what I can dig up. I probably have a couple figures in the stash if you need someone to kick you over the line.

Well, it has been awhile since we had this type of GB and usually Bish hosts it, but; I have been kicking this idea around in my head and was just wondering if it might be GB worthy. The concept is " Who are you in the Star Wars universe?" Think about what you would be, and what kind of speeder or starship you would need to do your job. Any current or old model that you would be okay to modify with at least a different paint job to a kitbash or scratchbuild your own. I would not even be mad if some took a figure and modified it. I do not want to see a screen accurate build though, ie. red-five, the falcon, slave 1, etc

Anyways, let me know if anyone would be interested. I know it is kind of late but I was thinking of starting May 4th (obviously) to season three premier of the Mandalorian in, I believe, December.
