Awesome GB badge, is right! I recognize that image from my son's game.

I'm tempted to do a Macross Gerwalk (remember the 'Ge' stands for 'Ground Effective' but i've over booked myself in GBs as it is.

Im changing my entry from a Imperial guard drop ship to an Eldar pirate Troop transport. Im pretty much fed up with the range for Dark Eldar in The 40k game so I decided to do a Pirate army using the DE rules and a mix of model ranges to make myself an Eldar privateer force. First up will be making a Raider from A vyper and a raider , to make it a little more sleek and a little less unweildy. The bits are ready and I cant wait till tommorrow to start.Big Smile [:D]

Ok, started on the Koubu's by assembling the bodies and other sections.
Next will be removing seams and starting to paint, the kits will be hand-painted as I doubt that in 1890 they bothered much with spray-guns.

The other reason for the hand-painting are the kits itself, the Koubu-kai has the 6 exhaust stacks on the back and due to fitting/alignement problems those are best assembled prior to joining the body halves.

Once the Koubu's are done I will start on the resin kits.

Yep, they fit the build and definition, except that we were supposed to start the build on 12/01/2004 not be finished on the date.

Guess you crossed the finish line when everybody else has barely cleared the gates. I only got started on 2 kits and still got 2(maybe 3) waiting on the sidelines.

Aaah, my sexy posterior is exposed. Big Smile [:D]

I should have the Koubu's finished by the end of the year(not doing the pilot figures though). January should see the first things done to the 2 resin Kits.
BTW, found a 1/48 Resin Scopedog lurking around, might add it in if time allows. Very easy build(great castings) and quick to be painted.

Could I take a built model and re-do it from the ground up? I am going to be getting my hands on some Games Workshop tanks soon which I want to fix & re-build. I would be fixing a Chimara assult transport from the Imperial Gaurd army.

The first question is do you have an image hosting source or web site? If so the forum code has the examples of how to enclose the address of the image for posting. If you don't have an image hosting source alot of the guys are using Photobucket heres a link:
http://www.photobucket.com/
This is also how the group badge should be applied to your sig line. Right click on the image and in the drop down window select (Save As) This will give you a list of your own image files you can save to. If you still have problems you can e-mail me an example of how you are trying to post and we will get you up and runningBig Smile [:D].

Don't know that mecha, got an image of it to show us?
Or are you talking about Mospeada Invids, those got nothing to do with macross??

Thought all Invid kits were long gone, except for a few "Event Only" kits.

Hey everyone.
Just told about the forums by Deusmex.

I am currently working on a Walker for a 40k army called Tau.
Its very sci fi. I just happend to start it right around the time this group build started.

I have it pretty much built and I am painting it and working on all the details.

Its a large scale walker.

Its made by a company called Dreamforge.
But I then changed out the main gun the cockpit and open hatch now has a man in it and the legs have been modified with Tau shields.
I have added alot of sci fi Tau bits to it and what not.

Heres what I have so far and I think its turning out very well.

A shot of it with a 28 mm fig and another Walker I scratch built called Crayfish.
http://pic6.picturetrail.com/VOL169/1054762/5663778/74529601.jpg

Heres the top
http://pic6.picturetrail.com/VOL169/1054762/5663778/74529590.jpg

Ok getting some more painting on the smaller details done in these phtos
http://pic6.picturetrail.com/VOL169/1054762/5663778/74875171.jpg

http://pic6.picturetrail.com/VOL169/1054762/5663778/74763098.jpg

And heres a shot with a fig about 1/200 scale battle suit (Tau Crisis Suit)standing at its base.
http://pic6.picturetrail.com/VOL169/1054762/5663778/74887757.jpg

And just for fun here it is and a hole bunch of those Walkers the (Crayfish) I like to build with it.
http://pic6.picturetrail.com/VOL169/1054762/5663778/74887744.jpg

Well I have only the 4 lef emblems done a couple shileds and some lights painted so far.
The main body is in the desert color I like.
But I have the commander to paint and the skulls to finish and 6 more shields and a bunch of smaller detail and gear/stowage still to go.

So I would like to work along with all of you to finish it with you? If thats ok?

And thanks Deusmex for helping me find this great site. Smile [:)]

Aaah, it is Dougram kit. Some of the best mecha designs ever come from that series.

You got a gem there, those kits are pretty hard to come by now. Enjoy it.

Those kits are getting rarer and rarer. Try to get hold of some Dougram Videos, most of the original battletech's unseen mechs are from there(as well as Macross, Mospeada, Crusher Joe, etc.)

Check the link below for all the dougram mechs and vehicles:
http://www.mahq.net/mecha/dougram/dougram.htm

[edit]
Just checked they are actually missing quiet a bit of support vehicles like the APC, Hover crafts, etc.

HTH.

Good to see you here Greydeath. I had a feeling you might like it here. It`ll be good to finally see that walker finished too. Thought of a name for it yet?
