Cool Mike. Building with your kids is always a fun challenge. Doesn't mater a bit if everyone completes their project or not this was more for motivation.

I got quite a bit more work done on the first (master) leg plus some detail work on the lower half. Hoping I can finish it up tonight.

Got the Tau Hammerhead underway, but as I am building this kit along with my son building his Space Marine Whirlwind, progress is a tad slow.

Here's crossing my fingers!

cheers

Mike

Thanks. Yeah I'm leaning more toward the launcher. I managed to get one of the spider like legs built up and I think I might have to cast the other five so they all look the same. The back side of the turret will have an ammo case for the gatling. And I even have a nice little scene worked out to drop this thing into. Man this one turned out to be quite fun.Big Smile [:D]

How are the rest of you guys doing? Only a month and a half left.

Funny thing happened, I sat down Monday night to work on the dropship when the doodle bug bit me and I sketched out a six leg walker. Did some pre-cutting that night, built up the walker platform and turret / cockpit on Tuesday. Built up the gatling gun for one side and detailed the cockpit today. I'm trying to decide if I want a second gatling gun on the other side or maybe a missile launcher??? This thing went together some kind of crazy fast. Meant to happen I guess. Anyway here some pics of what I have so far:

Let me know what you guys think.

Most impressive work Bio!!! Love the pics. Keep em coming.

It seems we've lost a few troops along the way. Maybe everyone is to busy right now I know I have been. I haven't even had time to work on any of my kits let alone scratch buildingDisapprove [V]. May is looking better though and should see some more work on mine.

Hi Guys,

I know I'm jumping onto the Bandwagon late, but I'd like to get in on this GB if possible. This would be a first GB for me, just can across this thread and thought it would give me the motivation for my new project I've just started. I'm working on a Bandai 1/100 Gouf Custom, but I'm actually using it as a basis for a 1/35 battle armor suit. Never really got into the Gundam Series, but love some of the Suit designs and thought they they would make some great 1/35 suits with alot of possibility for dios.

I know it'll only give me 2 months for completion, but it'll give me a good kick up the a$$ to keep working on it. So if it's cool, count me in and I will post in-progs as I go.

Adam.

Ok guys here is where I'm at. The dropship will have three anti-grav pods mounted to hinged arms so that the ship can land on its pods after the troop container has been deployed. I'm going to try to build up a cockpit for it so for now it has a clear canopy. below it will be a chin mounted gun turret. I have a ton of detail work to do on it and the container to start yet. Like I said slow but sure.Approve [^]

OK, I've got my vehicles ready, I've just got to post some pics. Because I don't have a digital camera, I don't know how long it will be before I get them. I have 2 Imperial Guard Chiemara assult vehicles, both Games Workshop models.

So, is anyone else stalled like I am right now? I kinda lost my interest in modeling, and am getting back into my 1:1 car. Darn it, I'm so FICKLE!

I'm sure I'd be hauling tushie if I had my Dremel tool and Flex-Shaft. Hmm, gotta go spend $55 now... :D

as I said before I still have 4 Battle Pods to do but its kinda slow since I will have to get more Medium Blue paint mostly for the Battle Pods and also for a 1/12 scale IMAI Ride Armour from Mospeada ( last series in RoboTech New Generation). I've even found a better solution for replacing the screws in the 1/200 scale kits by using Brad nails that are exactly the same diameter as the screws and have a flat head which should come in handy if I should cover the recessed areas over with putty.

On the workbench: Dragon 1/350 scale Ticonderoga class USS BunkerHill 1/720 scale Italeri USS Harry S. Truman 1/72 scale Encore Yak-6

The 71st Tactical Fighter Squadron the only Squadron to get an Air to Air kill and an Air to Ground kill in the same week with only a F-15 http://photobucket.com/albums/v332/Mikeym_us/

I know how you feel Matt, I just got out of the hospital. This makes the second trip in one week, a total of 7 days in-patient status and two surgeries. I'm back now, but have had one stone removed from my common bile duct (complication from a gall-bladder removal survery from late January) lost 4 (yes, 4) units of blood from an upper GI bleed (complication from having the ECRP to fix the complication caused by the original surgery) and now have to relax for 72 hours (no work) so that gives me some time to possibly work on some models. To clarify, I had to have surgery to fix a complication of a complication, yes this is a very rare occurance, LOL.

:sigh:

Glad to be back home.Black Eye [B)]Big Smile [:D]
