A Compromise and a Purchase.
Hi All.
Just had a heart to heart talk with the Boss(aka Wife) and she laid down the law as follows:
She won't interfere in me purchasing kits as long as the following rules are met:
1.) Resin, Vinyl Garage Kits are put into a Display-case(designed by me) with NO doors.
2.) No Plastic Models except for a few (Dio) to go into the Display case.
3.) All finished models are to be photographed and gotten rid off with the exception of the ones for the display case and others that are stored properly in their own cases/boxes marked properly. In short Resin and other expensive/collector kits.
4.) No semi-finished kits to be seen by Visitors.
So I guess I will have to break out the ol' Digi Camera and start shooting away as I got TONS of finished kits to dispose/sell/trade.
The Display case is already designed and only uses wood, fake mirrors and acrylic sheeting(another one of her requirements).
Current plan is to create a website that will host the images of kits that I have and will finish.
Personally, I have no probs with the arrangement as I am more of a builder than a Collectors, said that I guess I have some 300+ kits(don't ask how much I paid for those
)in storage and if they were all finished we would be living on the Veranda.
Ok, enough of that. Now onto my recent purchase.
Just got the 1/100 MG ACGUY by Bandai, which after the Z'Gok and Zaku is my favorite Zeon design.
Only checked the instruction sheet and the kit seems a standard MG kit(too much hidden detail and too little real detail).
Nice touch is the display stand, figs and the water whirls for the feet and 2 torpedoes and I am asking myself where are the whirls for the backpack??
They are shown in an image in the instructions but not included.
