Love your idea and how it came out!   Great job.

You may even want to add some shiny silver all along the front edges to simulate additional wear from flying through wind-blown sand.  The abrasion on the paint must have been murder!

I love the idea of a "Sand Speeder" since these are traditional "Snow Speaders". It would be cool if you put US Marines markings on them. LOL

Well.... after being in a modeling slump for the past couple months I've finally been able to finish one! I painted the canopy with chrome tinted with blue. I kinda wanted something to look like it would protect the crew from those harmful UV rays LOL. I'll use Blue Blockers on the crew for the next one.
