Yeah. It's a nice little kit. I just got one in last week. Here's a page I made up for it. http://www.forbiddenplastic.com/blacksun/raptor/blacksun_raptor_first.html

I'd like to get a couple of crew figures for it.

My kit arrived Friday, talk about fast delivery!  The kit is all resin with the vac canopy.  It looked a little small but checking the few pic's I could find online, it's size is close.  There are some minor molding flaws but nothing that can't be quickly cleaned up with a polishing stick.  The parts seem to fit together well enough.  Detail for the interior is pretty good but I think the floor in the cargo/mission specialist area is too high (if you use this piece, because it's seperate from the fuselage floor.)   Just keep in mind that it will take some work and filler and I think this kit will end up looking great.

I see it as more of a "heads up" post about a kit that most people wouldn't be aware of. There are other kits at SSM and lots of neat ones coming soon, especially BSG related. I've already commited to these in studio scale. I bit the bullet and bought the SS Raptor, which is also a sweet kit. Just finished my Mk VII Viper.

And spammers typically have a post count of one or two.

Thanks Jeff

I didn't know about the kit until yesterday.  I thought others hadn't heard about it either.  I've missed out on several short run kits that I wanted because I found out about them too late.  I.E. the bubble fighter from Lost in Space.

Chris

I read this forum more then I surf the net for kits and ideas, if you hear of a new kit that might be interesting you can post it here.

No SPAM here that I see.  All I see is a fellow modeler trying to pass the word on to those who might not know about it.

heads up...  Starshipmodeler is offering a 1/48 scale BSG Raptor from Black Sun Models and the pics look great.  They are a bit pricey at $88.  Check it out at:
