Artesania Latina Hermione Plank on Bulkhead

I have not  posted in awhile,but I am still plugging away.Cut the upper gun ports and painted the bulwark red.  photobucket

Made the display board out of red oak and mounted her up.     

It's starting to look like something now.

I like the way the display base came out.The brass supports were intended for the Model Shop Ways Harriet Lane,which is much smaller.I had to Widen  the slots with a file and it took awhile so there is no doubt they are sturdy.I inlayed the base of the supports with a 9/16s spade bit.

You need to reposition the headrails, the yellow curved bits. They should run from the rear end of the top of the head, the black piece at the very front, and back to meet the hull just aft of the cat's heads, the crane-beams that poke out from the hull.
