I know I know, I am beating this to death and I appologize, but I am trying to work with what I have before the wife executes me. how close is Tamiya light grey (xf-66) to hull grey? If I can alter the full bottle I have it'll probably save my thumbs. lol |

You are building the DMS Emmons as lost correct?
According to the shipcamouflage.com database, in 1945 the Emmons was in Measure 21. This is overall Navy Blue (5-N), it is not a gray.

Haze Gray, Hull Gray, Light Gray, whatever you want to call it -- it would be wrong for the color representation of the Emmons as lost.
The best color choice for accuracy would be WEM's Colourcoats in enamels or MM Acryl II marine paints in acrylics. I know you don't have access to them - and you will need to go with Tamiya. We'll work with that.
I'm at work and the info I need is at home. If someone can jump in with the color mix that Tamiya cites in their 1:350 Fletcher instructions for Navy Blue (5-N) -- great. If not I'll post them when I get home tonight
