And msfob,  the PE under the deck of the Langley shouldn't be all that frightening.   I've not seen exactly how Hugh at LC drew it up,   but I provided him some copies of NARA drawings as well as some info from other sources.    If Hugh did it anything like the way Ted Paris at ISW drew his deck support latticework - it will go together with a minimum of hassle

I looked at the Loose Cannon Langley kit ... all that PE to hold up the flight deck scared me ... I figure at my age I'm doing good to get the railings and whatnot on a regular 1/700 build. Still and all, an impressive kit.

It's my hobby.  I only SPEND money keeping it up.  I've been adding to it for about 11 years.

Thanks for the post- neat site. I remember hearing several months ago that someone was coming out with a kit of the Langley.  Since then, never heard a thing.  Was it a bad rumor?
