Your advice about using smaller scale pe sounds like a good idea. In the end, If I do get the 'MO finished I may have to use a combination of things to complete it. Improvising, is after all a part of this hobby . You've given me some directions to go in, and once again I really appreciate your response.

BTW Arizona 1/429 is a smidge large but does include doors, older style catapults, etc.

There is 1/450 USN railing from Eduard. I may have some if you do not find any.

The GMM 500 naval set may work as well.

It is best to use smaller scale pe on a ship if there is no pe available as in 1/480 or 1/450.

The 1/426 Arizona set may also work as it has a number of items to use.

Note you can  use solid borders on a pe fret to make much thinner gun tub walls and splinter shields. Looks much nicer than  thick castings.

I a building and reworking a Fujimi 1/450 Haruna and note the GMM 1/500 IJN BB set matches perfectly.
