Great job on the build, aircraft & everything. I'd agree with subfixer & tigerman - a good wash would be the finishing touch.

tigerman That looks great. Excellent job on the PE. My only recommendation would be to add some washes along the superstructures and turrets, with some streaking up and down the hull. That would help to pop some of the details.

I agree with tigerman; this is an excellently built model, but washes and attention to bridge/pilot house windows would really take it to a new level. Portholes and windows can be done using something as simple as a fine tipped Sharpie pen. You have already accomplished this with the cabin windows on the launch on the boat deck. I urge you to take this project to the finish line where it will surely be a winner.

Nice job! I always wanted to build a Japanese Cruiser, they look "different" enough from other warships to be interesting. Tamiya has some excellent offerings...
