Pontos Dreadnought detailing set- ladders

I'm not familiar with that set, but I have seen this solved in a number of ways.

Sometimes there's a fret map that has the pieces numbered, if not on the fret.

Sometimes those numbers match the kit part numbers.

Sometimes there's a scrap of paper that gives a conversion chart for fret numbers/ part numbers.

Or like you say, you may have to just guess.

The PE part numbers are etched into the sheet.  However, that only helps if the part number is called out in the instructions.  Only about half of the ladders seem to be shown on the instructions.  The ones that are shown present no problems- it is the ones not called out that I will have to make guesses for.

And yes, the quality of the instructions on PE certainly varies widely, with GMM and Tom's offerings having the best instructions, as far as I am concerned.
