New to Tall Ships, let me introduce myself.
After posting several threads to this part of the forum I guess it is time to introduce myself.
I am 51 years old and have been modeling most of my life. In my younger, single and carefree days I indulged in buying lots of resin kits and HUGE kits of spaceships and submarines that I still don't have space to build or display them. Now that I am very happily married (NO, this is not a paid or coerced announcement --- I really really mean it, I am a very lucky man) I have to be more responsible and choose my projects more carefully.
I don't have many of my finished models on the web. But here are a few examples:

I have an ongoing dream project, a 72 scale Jules Verne NAUTILUS:

But lately I have seen several excellent examples of tall ship models online. And I want one!
I read Forester's Horatio Hornblower series in college and loved them! Ever since then I have had a itch to build the Lydia from Beat to Quarters. I think now is the time.
I could use some advice and this seems the place to get it. Thank you all for the help you have been and in advance for all the help to come!
