Well, yes, and no.  I still have the files but Shapeways can't print a lot of my 1/144 scale models for sale, and none of my 1/350 scale models because they are too small for their process.  It has been rather frustrating!  I have tried a couple of other places, but have not had much luck getting good prints.  However, Shapeways will let me order it as "Print it Anyway" which I have done for others (all have printed well), and would happily do for you. Unfortunately though, this requires you paying double shipping, as they have to first ship it to me, and then I have to forward it on to you.

If you are still interested, I could upload the file and see how much it would cost.

Hello there , clearly im late to the party here but i wanted to tell you how awesome they all look. I really hooe i am still able to buy these sets i have been saying for years we need wing stores and such. I also wanted to know if you felt they would be able to get something even smaller like say a basic aircraft cockpit or even the interior on helicopter or osprey?

Good deal IYA…  Merry Christmas!  Or at least, Happy New Year!
I am so glad that you finally got them and like them, and am equally sorry that it took so long.  I still do not know what’s going on at C2D, but I hope they can get it together.  As far as I know, they are the only game in town.  I looked into Shapeways, and even though I think they may now be able to print my models, they don’t have a way to do kits.  Each part and fret would have to be a separate item, and I would have to create pages with links to them.  To do all of my models would take way more time than I have, so I just have to hope that C2D comes back to life.

I am so sorry IYA.  They haven't been responsive to me either, but I forwarded your message to them.  Let's see if they respond.  How long has it been since you placed your order?  Several months, I would think

Don't give up hope IYA.  C2D finally responded to my e-mails, and they are still alive.  You may get your order yet.

Sad

I am sorry IYA...!  I cannot get a hold of them either.  It is as if they have fallen off the earth and never existed.  They vanished owing me money.  Not a lot, but it's the principle, not the amount.

I would put my models on Shapeways, but in the past when I have tried, they couldn't print them.  If I find another place to put them, I will let you know.

I did finally get my 1/350 bombs, A4 and missiles from C2D after about 8 or 9 weeks. An early email sent at the 4 week mark (since they mention 2 - 3 weeks for production and shipping) was replied to; apparently the A4 being transparent made the whole order take a lot longer. A second email at around the 8 week mark was not replied to but they did send a 'your order has shipped!' email a few days later. The parts themselves are gorgeous; tiny tiny fins on the missiles that are far beyond any ability of mine to replicate. My order was complete and beautiful.

Sorry IYAOYAS5424, I couldn't tell you. Their service always was kind of slow, but I was on hiatus completing my dissertation and since I came out of the abyss they have been incommunicado. They have not responded to several e-mails I have sent and I don't even know if they are still in business.

Hi Guys!

Life has allowed me little time for modeling or playing on the computer lately.  Thanks for the suggestion on the AGM’s, etc. IYAO…, I will add them to the list.

I am sorry to hear that C2D’s service is not up to snuff, but there is nothing I can do about that.  I have tried to contact them, but they are not responding to my e-mails.  They are a small company, and the only response I have received since May have been auto-responses saying that he was on family leave.  Hopefully things will improve.

LonCray,

It took quite a while to get the stuff I ordered.  Like 4-6 weeks IIRC.  Definitely stay on them though.

Coming up on the 6 week mark (for '3 weeks to ship') and still nothing.  An email to C2D got an answer that since my order contained a set of A-4's and they have clear parts, they're going to take longer.  Not worrisome quite yet, but not making me feel great about my first C2D order.

The only weapon set i would add would be the AGM's like AGM-84 harpoon AGM-88 harm AGM-65 maverick AGM-158 JASSM-ER . As for WSE (weapon support  equipment) i would like to see BRU-33/55 VER (vertical ejector rack) for my F/A-18's and empty MER's and TER's. just some stuff that would really make some cool looking 1/350 aircraft!

Well, I just made my first C2D order of your ordinance and look forward to seeing it.  I've always wanted ordinance for my 1/350 planes!  I, too, would be interested in more of the 'miscellaneous' pods as well as packs of 'just AIM-9' or 'just 300 gallon tanks' or whatever.

I hope you are right Stuart, and that people do find them useful.  Your point is well taken about the Harpoon missiles, JDAMs, electronic jamming pods, and Cobra and Bronco rocket and gun pods.  I already have a start on them with my OV-10.(cs.finescale.com/.../163517.aspx) They are on my list of things to do next.

As for sets of individual items, that could possibly be arranged with C2D if the demand is there.  I wasn’t sure how many people would be interested in them, so I grouped them based on recommendations I received through posts, and e-mails with modelers and C2D.

Hi,

I can see a bright future for these sets :-). I and am sure others thank you for doing these.

How about sets of one particular item one type of missile, bomb tank, etc. Also what about Harpoon missiles, JDAMs, electronic pods used by EA6 etc. possibly rocket & gun pods used by marine cobras & broncos

Now, how many do I need?

Stuart
