I decided to get out of my comfort zone and wander into ships from my usual aircraft builds. This is my first ever ship build, and I think I am hooked. the kit is the trumpeter 1/700 USS Wisconsin in her 1990's config. I have been working on it for the past 2 weeks on and off. It is straight out of the box. I am not brave enough to try rigging but I see this as my guinea pig for practice on that as I intend to build more ships in the future.
I also wanted to tinker with modeling water. It was also something I have been wanting to try for awhile now. So all in all my first ship kit was pretty enjoyable and it has taught me what to expect out of basic ship kits. Now P.E. in 1/700 scale is a whole other story. She is far from being perfect but I enjoyed it and in the end that is what matters most to me. thanks for looking
