Those look great. It always intrigued me how the Japanese army had their own seagoing boats and ships. They even had a gyro-copter it's carrier Akitsu Maru, which was supposed to preform anti-sub missions.

It was sunk by the Queenfish (SS-393) on 15 November 1944.

I've always been impressed by Japanese engineering of their ships and boats

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Those photos are really bad. Can you please lighten them up?

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

modelcrazy - thanks for your kind comments. I think it's a pity that at the end of the 2nd world war, the captured I-400 was sunk by the Americans. They should have kept it in a museum instead.

GMorrison - I usually used ACDSEE to lighten up images but it didn't work in this case. Those are the first image of each ship, there are more images with different view and I think most of them are pretty good - sharp and clear. But I'll try taking pictures under artificial light the next time. May be better because of no color diffusion.

I use the "free" Picassa program. Downloaded the pix and lightened up myself. Nice work.

Hokey - Thank you very much for your information. I downloaded Picasa from download.com, installed and tried it. Within minutes I managed how to do it. Each image takes a few seconds only. A great software from Google, it even has interface in Thai language.

GMorrison - Your request has been granted. I edited each and every images in this page (148), then made thumbnail images, made title images (medium size) and uploaded all 306 images to my Host server. It took more time uploading than editing. I have to thank you also for your comments on my images. Without which Hokey would not have suggested Picasa, and I would not have known and used it.
