Interior lighting on U 505
Posted by Blackbelt2 on Sunday, August 9, 2015 9:07 AM

I am currently building Revells 1/72 scale U-505 IXC. I am using CMK's interior resin kits to detail the ship. The question that I have is, "What color lights are in the interior of the U Boat"? I am working on the Torpedo room and it has 3 lights. I am not sure if during normal operations the lights are white, amber, blue or red.I went on the U 505 website, Chicago museum, and it looks like the lights may be blue but I am not sure if that is accurate or just the color that the museum is using.

That's interesting,  blue.  I would think they should be white, at least in the torpedo room.  Of course red in the tower.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Ok. This is going to take me awhile because I am really going to super detail this sub with the entire interior viewable.

That's great! Can't wait to see the project develop!
