Steve,

Mine arrived yesterday with the glue as well.  And, I agree with you; they are very nice!  I can see that I will continue doing business with Hismodel.

Steve....mighty fine for sure.....great execution and fine workmanship.

I'll get those cloth samples out very soon....I've been on back shift and I don't get home till 0100...so getting to the post office has been a challenge.

I got it though bro......

Great job!

I  got them from cauldercraft , but I bought the beads from a craft shop , to get various sizes , I assumed they got smaller as they went up .the second site bill mentioned ,  give you triples , I didn't find out till after , but they look alright

Thanks, Steve!

Did you make them yourself, or buy them from some aftermarket site?  I saw that Bill had mentioned some aftermarket Parrels from Agesofsail, but they don't give much of a description of the parts, only sizes (6mm and 10mm, I believe?)...I'll need to get some or make some when the time comes, or else I'd risk wishing I had!

Sorry for the confusion...the upper end of the mizzen topmast stay (where it goes around the mast) doesn't have the crows feet that are found on the main and fore tops.  I was asking about the lower end of the mizzen topmast stay.  Looks like you have yours run through a block at the main top and then leading down to the deck, similar to the main topmast stay?

I'm going to install the *crows feet* at the lower end, and attaching the stay via tackles to the aft main shrouds, similarly to what the instructions indicate?  Are your plans different, by the way?  I have 3 versions of instructions, and each has minor differences from the other!

From reading Anderson, there is no real certainty which way the Soleil Royal would be rigged in terms of the mizzen topmast back stay..it seems fuzzy as to when certain practices became the norm....

Anyway, thanks for the pics!
