Very nice indeed. I wouldn't have used the blue paint, but that sort of thing is entirely up to the individual modeler.
You do know (don't you?) that the stand is on backward. Some photos of it displayed that way were up for a while on the Revell websites, but the instructions in the earlier releases (including the first one, in 1956 - make it clear that the two posts are supposed to be in front. If you turn the stand around I think you'll see that the model looks a lot better.
(Five minute update: I just checked the current issue's instructions on the Revell Germany website ( http://manuals.hobbico.com/rvl/80-5404.pdf ). The photo on the first page shows the stand backward, but the actual instructions show it mounted properly. It's illustrated in Step 17.)
