Fantastic Model of HMS PANDORA

 Now see ! The fact I put all the interior details in the bridges of my 1/87 ships is a no brainer .They were doing it long before me . WOW ! Thanks Again -Crackers !

Perhaps, there are plans for the PANDORA, if enough research could be made to locate such a plan. Visiting a used book seller, the other alternative, is to buy the book of the Anatomy of the Ship series "The 24 gun frigate PANDORA, 1779", by John McKay and Ron Coleman. The book features a detailed outline of the building of this ship. A picture section with photos of a model of the PANDORA. A guide of the ship's color scheme. More than 300 prspective and 3D view drawings of detailed sections of the ship of hull construction, fittings. decorations, masts, yards, rigging sails and armament.  This book is a treasurte trove of information for those who have the skill and patience of scatch building.

Wow, it even has the muskets on the lower gun deck. I can only dream of being that good.

Crackers tks for taking the time to post these. Not a word I am in the habit of using but "Awesome" is what comes to mind. Sure wish they made plastic models this scale and similiar detail.

Thanks for posting these photos! I have been working on upgrading the old Constructo kit of the Pandora, and it is most helpful to see what an excellent model of the ship looks like.  Perhaps the biggest disappointment that I have with the kit is that the bow and forecastle are dreadfully misshapen, being far too long and sharp. But, I will accomplish my goal with the help of fine photos like these.
