It's certainly beautiful...but, having done a few similar projects, I'm not certain it would be much less effort to scratch-build. Certainly cheaper.

Would love to hear from someone who actually built it.

That kit has been listed on that website for over a month.  Oldmodelkits have posted newer kits on their site.  I sure they post what they have purchased recently.

 Mike, back in the 1930's a friend of my dad worked for the Normandie. He gave dad a big color brochure of the ship. I still have it, but the cover is in bad shape but the inside is fine. It is big & has a lot of pages in color.  I will have to find it.
