Ralph Currell offers a couple of free model downloads of the Olympic, both in wartime gray and dazzle, and the Britanic in hospital ship markings

Their stated scale is 1:1200, but with some creative Xerography you should be able to resize them to 1:350 scale (something on the order of 343% zoom).   Since they are 2D images being projected onto a 3D hull curve you may need to stretch the image a bit.  Use this rescaled image to create masks to paint the dazzle patterns on the hull

In addition the lifeboat count, Britannic had very large gantry-type davits installed to handle the extra boats, many of which were stacked.  A shop on Shapeways (not mine) offers those.  Link:

The A Deck deckhouse below Funnel #2 is a bit different.  Britannic had a children's playroom added port-side which looks almost like a mirrored version of the starboard-side gymnasium.

The aft well deck is covered.  A large deckhouse was added to the forward well deck to provide, among other things, a protected entrance to the bow streerage class areas.

Boy does that throw a wrench into some modelers research! It was (and I hope still is - just down for maintenance maybe?) a teasure trove of quick find answers to many modelers questions on the 1/350 Titanic. It also had some information on the 1/350 Lusitania which I have in my stash. 

GM, how long has it been down as far as you know?

There was a good site for an organization called the Titanic Research and Modeling Association, or TRMA. 

Sadly, that seems to be no longer active.

Just off the cuff, the first big difference is a lot more lifeboats.

I remember a couple of build articles, see what I can dig up.

 

Not only the life boats but the ship beam was made two feet wider.  Of course at 1/350 scale I doubt if you could tell. 

There is a youtube video out there where someone converted a kit into the Britannic.  Most of the work was creating the lifeboat davits and changes to the decks that supported them.

The other upgrades were made internal so those won't be a concern.

Seeing how I'm probably biting off more than I can chew I would like to take the minicraft 1/350 titanic turn it into the hmhs Britannic .Does anyone know how much would be involved in this . My search for reference pics comparing the two hasn' been good . I have in my stash the 1/350 minicraft titanic deluxe edition and extra photo etch to go with it.

HELP!
