The flag looks good, hand painted? If so, excelent!!

Very nice looking.

Not a crit, just a suggestion. the direction that the flag is flowing in i.e. the direction of the wind; is from straight over the bow, highly unlikely. You could turn the flag around if you wanted to.

 Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Masked and painted a piece of sheet aluminum...After it was masked and painted I carefully bent it over a screwdriver handle clamped in my vise...Success!
