thankyou mongoose , I think I surprised myself too mate , but everything fitted so well . the most time consuming part was the railing , trying to thread that .1mm wire . 

Just beautiful Steve! I took some time and went back thru the whole post again. It's cool to see it all come together Start to finish. can't believe how fast it went together either, just under 2 months. Now a clear dust cover and she'll be a great display for you to show off.

thank's guy's , mike I just used a small pointed brush , like a size 1 ,

finally i finished all the post's and completed the railing .

all the anti aircraft guns are done .

going to call this boy done . I might have a bit of a break .

Did you say you still have to paint the rigging? If so, what do you use to apply the paint? A small brush? Perhaps a micro applicator?

You've built her up faster than I could contemplate the order of my build!

thankyou capnmac , for the kudo's . the PE on this build came with the kit , I know what you mean though , I'm becoming very selective with what I use of their stuff .

Looks incredible. 

How they hoisted signal flags amid all those radio antenna wires astounds.

But, this is an astounding build.

Even if it keeps me wondering what the Pontos brass set looks like for Yamato, what with Pontos being afflicted with Dragon-itus, and never making one part when ten can be created . . .

I thought i better start the rigging , before I finish all of the railing , just so no accidents happen . not going too mad , this is it , just haven't painted the line yet . I used plain ol knitting in elastic for the rigging .

thankyou TB , unfortunately I live in the country , with no museum anywhere near us . I think I am the only one in town who models at all . hopefully I can find someone who will take it . cheers again mate .

started on the railings , the biggest hassel was , I painted the rails on the sprue and the holes are so small most of them filled up . took ages with an old airbrush needle to clean them out , so I could feed the .1mm wire through .

It's a real pleasure to tag along on your builds ... you are showing me that patience and perseverance are two valuable personal properties to whip into line as one builds a kit with this much detail. You also have the good model builder's skill set whch I sorely lack. My next build will have to rely on my taking a cue from your obvious pertinacity.
