I'm not sure whether to post this here or in the General Discussion forum further down. Somebody can move it if it's wrong.
Anyway, I'm in the beginning stages of building a 1/350 USS Montana battleship for a friend using a resin hull that someone made for him. Before I get too involved in construction and such, I would like to ask what everyone's best guess would be as to what the Montana would have been painted if the ship had been constructed and been commissioned back in late WWII? Would it have possibly been the same Ms22 scheme that the IOWA's had, or would it have been something else?
Also, I only tend to work with Tamiya or Testor paints. What would be the equivalent Tamiya or Testor MM Marine colors that I would need for Ms22?
Oh, and before I forget, how well do the Testor MM Marine paints brush?
