Clear stryrene is available from Evergreen.   Check the rotating display rack at the LHS.

Clear plastic is also available by salvaging it from the tops & bottoms of clear plastic salad bar containers from the local grocery store.

You may also want to look at Micro CrystalKleer.  This is a white-glue like substance which dries clear.  Put some on the tip of a toothpick & rub around the inside of a window opening.  Surface tension holds a film of the material in the opening.  When it dries it is clear.   IIRC, CrystalKleer can also be tinted with food coloring (i.e. to make the glass green).
