I sometimes watch a TV show called "Meet the Ancestors", which is usually about digging up old ruins and/or bones at various locations in Britain. The other night I happened to catch an episode entitled "The Search for the Beagle" which told the story of the ship and of a marime archeologist who believes he has found her remains. It was an interesting and informative show, but unfortunately (and typically) I fell asleep about 10 minutes before the end and missed whether he had found the ship or not. Curious about the ending I tried an internet search to try to find out what the outcome had been. I was amazed to find that the entire show (sans commercials no less), plus other shows in the series, can be viewed at this website:

Apparently, as with many BBC-produced programs, we've had to wait a couple of years to see this, so this may be old news to some.
