Mirage's planned release of the IJN patrol version of the ship (ex USS Stewart) as well as a APD version are still in the works. When is anyone's guess. Mirage has been brutally closed mouth about these kits, having taken 4 years to bring the first into production. Of interest are the Flower-class corvettes which are also shown on the box.
Squadron lists the four Mirage flush-deckers as being on sale in their October sales flier.
I've been slowly working through the USS Noa (AVD - sea plane tender version). There are a number of injector pin marks which need to be addressed, especially once the bridge windows are opened. I'm also dealing with a fit problem at the midships deckhouse. There are few locating pins & holes so I had major alignment issues with the running gear. All that ended up being stripped off and the hull cut down to waterline. These are definatly not for a novice ship modeler.
