I took some pics of the Texas about a year ago.  Maybe you could use them.

i built up at the step area towards the stern, marked off on the end of the stern for proper height then used a stationary belt sander with fine grit sandpaper to give me a slope from bow to stern.

what about the uneven deck of the arizona,compared to the texas?How will you handle that?

scott, use an arizona hull as that is what i'm doing. am using the 426 scale arizona with about 1.5" cut out of her length to get to the right length.

Assuming that you mean the King George V class one, not very I would have thought. The Prince of Wales hull is/was the best part of 200 foot longer &  was a bit wider in the beam. That is before you even start thinking about hull contours.

about as close as an apple to a banana. it just isn't suitable. WS

How close is the body of the prince of wales to the uss Texas?Is it close enough to use it and modify it to an early Texas?Any thoughts would be great..thanks in advance..
