Here is my take on Pegasus Hobbies 1/48 V-2 Rocket. It ia painted with Tamiya white primer, Testors Flat Black, and Krylon Olive Drab sprays, along with some Alcad. The markings are dry transfers from ChartPak, left over from years ago.
The kit itself is a gem! Very surprising for a snap together kit. It built up nicely, I only had to use a very small mount of filler in 2 places, and that was where I removed the part from the sprue. The plastic is very thick in most places, but it doesn't affect the construction or final apearance at all. It was a quick build; I spent about 6 hours on it total, from opening the box to completion. It is a nice size rocket, coming just under 13 inches when on its base (just under 12 off it).
I based the it off of several different pictures of White Sands rockets to come up with my own marking scheme. A paintjob exactly like this may have never been applied, but it looks the part. Unfortunately you can't see it well in the pictures, but the seperation line and the nose cone are both painted in Alclad Jet Exhaust.
Without further ado, here are the pictures of my White Sands V-2...

EDIT: Forgot to add... It only cost $10 at the LHS, so it's a pretty good deal.
