BE CAREFUL with that "Blu Tack" stiff--I've heard several people report that the stuff stains or can discolor paint schemes, and leave some kind of residue that is a b*tch to get rid of. |

The same people (Bostik in UK) also make a 'white-tac' conveniately available in the 99c stores, which has less residual issues, so use, paint, & remove as soon as practical, I only use acrylics now, so haven't had problems with enamel thinners turning it into 'goo'

'silly putty' is all but unobtainable here, I found some in an egg, with silver flecks in it, but it dried out & was useless for masking.

I've used straight PVA (elmer's) glue to mask wheels, etc, but now use white tac, unless my kids have nicked it for their HSM posters again!
