Well I'll be a son of a .... That is almost the same thing you would do in wood working. (a wood chip that is fitted between to other pieces of wood to make the connection stronger.)

use a small piece of wire, drill a hole in the part, drill a hole in themodel , glue a piece of wire into the hole in the part, and then glue the part on themodel , inserting the wire into the hole in themodel . that should give it extra strength.

I am building an Academy F-16

One of the Rear Wings (?) had a nub that broke off.

I thought 'ok, the pros don't use the alignment pins, why should I?'

Well I am using medium set time CA glue and that wing surface popped off once when I accidentally nudged it. I glued it back on

Now I have these two custom canards that I have attached to the front (ATFI F-16)

They are flush mounted too. I have just used the CA glue again and postponed painting the thing.

I have this Ambroid Pro Weld when I want to squish parts together(that seam fix thing) I have tried that too

Is there some way to make sure these parts don't pop off?

I was thinking of making a notch in the canards. That's easy, since they are custome, but what about the tail surfaces I can't just add a notch to them.
