Future puddles
Posted by JTBuckley on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 4:32 PM

Hello, Looking for some help.

I dipped some clear parts in future (car windows/windshield) and wicked off excess on a paper towel like usual but this time the parts dried with puddles and buildup of future. I must not have been careful enough.

What can I do to remove the future or flatten the buildup? REALLY fine paper??

Windex. The Ammonia dissolves the Future but not the plastic.

Worked perfectly.

Put the pieces in a tupperware and let them stew in a bit of windex for an hour or so. Rinsed with plenty of water and they seem to be good as new. Thanks for the help.

They don't even need to "stew" in the Windex (in my experience anyway). Just spray and wipe and you're all ready to try again.
