Tamiyas extra thin cement for fuselage

This stuff is strong, made a mistake in assembly on my last model and within 20 minutes tried to split the 2 pieces apart. Took just about everything I had and a knife to get it apart. I use xtra thin almost exclusivly for hulls, fuselage and general gluing. Works really well if you want the part to appear as if it is welded to another part. Plus the bit of plastic that squeezes out of seams make sanding the seam and filling much easier.

Second KT's post.  Just used it to do the hull halves on a 1/350 escort carrier that had to be beat into shape (more or less) and done in short lengths and clamped hard on the bow.  No issues so far.

In my experience, the Tamiya cement is superior to the Testors. Anymore, I just use the Testors for adding a stippled texture for cast armor or for making sprue goo. Just be careful of where you touch the applicator brush if you rubber band your fuselage together before applying the glue. Tamiya is thin enough to want to draw up and along the rubber bands because of capillary action.
