Hello all,
I was wondering, everytime I apply an oil wash to a plane, let it dry and then put on the final dull coat, it seems to almost wash away all the work I did. This last one, I even let it sit for 48 hours before the dull coat.
I am using grumbacher oil colors over future floor wax (usually 2 coats) then using Testors Dull coat Laguer (I dont put very much on either)
Is anyone having this happen to them too? Or am I doing something wrong. Again, I still have some weathering on the plane, but not nearlly as much as before the dull coat is applied.
