I'm about to paint the water inlet holes of my sub model black, lightened just a little bit.
I've sprayed the sides of the sub with gloss lacquer.
Should I use thinned enamel paint for the wash?
Or should I use thinned acrylic paint for the wash?
I've heard that thinned enamel paint can eat into the gloss lacquer finish. I've also heard that spraying a lacquer overcoat over acrylic can cause problems.
Just wondering what I should do?
Thank you,
Dave
