Realistic Battle Damage...

There's a branching tree that leads to battle damage at the bottom of the page. Also, I read you can simulate dents by applying heat with a candle/flame on the inside of the area you want to dent, and push it in with something such as a brush handle. Be careful when you do this!

Sometimes a soldering needle run lightly across the surface yields good results. You may have to scrape it afterward to get off the bubbled up plastic(do this in well vebtilated area!). They also make nice holes without mutilating too much surrounding plastic.

Sounds like bullet holes in a B-17 coming up in my near future

you could use a Dremel to thin the plastic, then puncture holes. If you want a line of bullets, rember the following: bullets don't hit in a straight line, so you should disperse them lightly
