For small gauge stainless steel tubing you should take a look at holepop.com and click on Product Info. They offer a sample assortment of small sizes for $10.
They used to advertise in FSM.

If you just want tubing, check www.smallparts.com. They have all types. I got some there several years ago, and am still using it.

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

Rob,
Hypodermic needles make excellent gun barrels. Your local pharmacy or if you have a nurse friend can help you locate some. Under no circunstances, ever use a used needle...you may catch the death of you!!! Either cut them off with a cut-off wheel in a dremel, or snip them with cutters and file the ends down. I have had really good results using several different guage needles.

Tubes and rods

I'm looking for metal tubes with very small diameters that I'd like to use for 1/48 gun barrels, etc. The smallest I see at stores is 1/16". Even that seems a little big for 1/48 guns. Anything smaller available? Where? How much? Also, How does one cut such very small tubes?

Thanks!
