..sorry, I just cant sleep tonight and I have questions ive thought of.

When applying that liquid mask stuff, do you put it on thick at first, or put it on thin, then add more?

I'll put it on thick; especially when doing a large area to be masked. It also depends on the masking agent as well. I found that Tamiya and Microscale don't 'layer' well. Hobbyco however, layers well, and comes off well afterwards. That is one I'll use by adding a thin coat first, and then thickening it later whenever I do small areas that require good control.
