Applying a liquid mask..

I'll put it on thick; especially when doing a large area to be masked. It also depends on the masking agent as well. I found that Tamiya and Microscale don't 'layer' well. Hobbyco however, layers well, and comes off well afterwards. That is one I'll use by adding a thin coat first, and then thickening it later whenever I do small areas that require good control.
