Chromed parts, which is the best glue to use?

What type of parts are you gluing. I ask because you could drill a tiny hole in both parts and put a small small rod to connect them (with a little glue on the rod ends).

You need to scrape off the chrome at the joint and use normal model glue.

HI, I need to find which is the best glue to use when glueing chromed parts together, and also to regular plastic ?
