as far as painting with a brush and using thinner is concerned: try a test strip, I usually brush acrylic paints with a brush straight out of the bottle. But some colors, especially glosses and many laquers are very thick out of the bottle and need to be thinned. If you brush these thick paints on before thinning them it may cover small detail such as panel lines and rivets.

I would suggest buying a book on airbrushing. I suspect that Kalmbach (Fine Scale Modeler) has some available. Check your hobby store too. That will help you get started.

Well, since it was mentioned... Smile [:)]

Yes, Kalmbach/Fine Scale Modeler has a book on the subject of airbrushing. It's titled, "How to Use an Airbrush". You can find out more information about it here.

As was also mentioned, I would suggest doing a search within the forums for airbrushing. There's already been quite a few discussions on the subject. If your questions still aren't answered after reading through those discussions, then don't hesitate posting any questions you may have. There are a lot of knowledgeable and helpful people here and I'm confident you'll get the answers you are looking for.

HI Web_Boy,
I haven't used a Badger air brush before, but I suspect it's a good one. You will need to think most modeling paints. Look around this site and read all the posts about air brushing. There's a lot of good information.
