I highly disagree.

Better yet, get some Super Clean degreaser from Wal-Mart or an auto store.

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom. " Charles Spurgeon

Hi, in the can oven cleaner is what I use. wear goggles, gloves and a respirator thou as it can irritate your skin etc if your a sensitive puppy. you will most likely make a mess so do it where your other half, mum or whoever is going to nag you is not going to get upset. wash your parts in clean water and a little bit of dishwashing liquid and air dry. Also a old toothbrush makes a handy little scrubbing brush. Good Luck

Stripping Paint
Posted by twinmustang on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 9:35 PM
I am new to the FSM forums but have been modeling most of my life. I have come into a situation where I need to strip some paint from intake blades. They have Tamiya Gunmetal and Model Master Light Ghost coats. It seems I remember an FSM article some time back, but I don't recall what to use to remove the paint down to the original surface. Any suggestions? If you guessed they are A-10 intake blades you'd be right!
