I think it should be pretty good. Also since it is a "regular alclad" then you can clear coat it. Experiment a little, you may want to try a clear yellow on top of it, or even Chrome with clear yellow on top, that may give you the color and sheen you are looking for. I think as long as you use a water-based acrylic (in thin coats) on top of thoroughly dry Alclad, you should be ok with clear coating almost all of them. When I first started with Alclad, I cut up some scrap styrene sheet and shot little color swatches for practice. HTH |
