 A heavily thinned burnt umber wash would go great on that. It will give a nice grimy finish without being too stark, and you can remove it fairly easily within an hour or so to suit your taste. No airbrush needed. also you may want to look at some pastels for the exhaust soot. An old simple trick is pencil lead in selected areas for aged bare metals.... Have fun with your Falcon... after all, she is "a piece of junk!"

Working on a 1989 AMT Millenuim Falcon. Base coat is a white/grey mix. I wanted to high lite the limited panels and give the many raised details a weathered look. I have a great pic that shows a lot of exhaulst wear. I don't have an air brush.
