Keep in mind that this is just my personal technique. You're likely to get as many different answers as there are people in this forum; but having said that here's my ...
I use the Paasche single action brush with my small (12cc) cup. For something like the base coat on a model, I fill the cup to about a half inch from the top. I then use a dropper to put in enough thinner to cover the top of the paint. I stir it with a toothpick the blend it all together. I may be using a lot more paint than necessary; but it works for me!
As far as the pressure, I go with around 25 PSI. You'll have to experiment and what gives you the results you're happy with. I pretty much do the same with my Tamiya acryllics, which I recommend as much as the Model Master enamels. If you can find an acryllic in the color you want I'd say go with that over an identical MM color! That's an extra for ya free of charge!!
Best of luck to ya!
