Well, chaps , I tried on my own and disagree a little with your conclusions, as for Harder & Steenbeck be it Evolution or Infinity, they enter enough not to mess the workbench and it's all I ask for, BUT I couldn't engage correctly :

By the way, did you notice this stuff is labelled Sparmax ?

I can use any airbrush with it if I remove the upper fork holding the airbrush and hold the airbrush by hand. In that case, I would rather spray cleaner into an empty milk bottle.

Sparmax makes quite a few items for the Iwata brand, but no airbrush.

As for Iwata, I tried  CM C+, HP CH and HP CR (this latter known as Revolution) and I think the settling is correct and that the MAC valve is not interfering

But all this is very subjective

In any case, you can choose other products ( there is another one with a very heavy glass jar) or build one yourself as Mike suggested.

Thanks for the feedback.  You've saved me from a 30 disappointment.

<sigh> It was a hand-me-down from a friend.  I've only got the "basket" inlet.

Didn't your Testors jar come with two different tubes/inlets? One is kinda like a basket,  for lack of a better description, that you have to insert the brush into quite a ways and the other is solid tube with a little rubber cap where you insert the brush. Using the latter all you insert is the very tip of the brush kinda like the Iwata version pictured. Been so long since I changed mine I don't remember whether the tubes screw in and out or if they snap in and out. Mine came with both.

I've got an old Testors/Aztek cleanout jar which works fine with my Badger 200, but my new 105 doesn't "fit".  The color cup gets in the way and I cant insert the 105 far enough into the socket on the clean out jar.

I was looking at the Iwata cleaning station but when I saw this picture I wondered if I might run into the same problem, only this time with the air line preventing it from going all the way in.ne.

Has anyone ever run into this?

You are right! The Iwata cleaning station is for the Eclipse ONLY like shown in your picture.

The Badger Patriot is too short, so is the Harder & Steenbeck Evolution.

Don't feel bad. The Iwata Custom Micro C+ will not fit either because the MAC value gets in the way.
