Manstein's revenge

I almost cured cancer today...

Normally I'd laugh, but that one struck a cord.

Sorry to hear about your accident, but glad to hear that you're recuperating.

I have to say, though, that my procrastination/hesitation would come out much earlier, before I'd ever break out the brush, paint and thinner.  If I've got the brush out, the compressor fired up, and the paint out, something's gonna get painted Big Smile

I agree with the doog - just do it!

Worst thing that could happen is you ruin the airbrush and blow up your house! Just kidding. Unless you're painting with nitroglycerine...

that sounds like me a while back. not so much bored but didn't want to screw up the model so ibuilt it to the paint stage and put it on the shelf with the other 12 models in the same state. finally realized that if i don't finish it i have wasted the same money as screwing up the paint job. it's all practice. i use acrylics, poly scale, modelmaster, tamiya and each has to be thinned differently. i use the specific thinners because it's one less variable. most of the time it turns out ok but the more i do it the better i feel. i have finished 3 shelf queens, completed 3 new models and am working on 6 right now. also decided one uboat probably isn't worth finishing.

You could............

If you don;t want to paint the kit until you're better, you could do doodles with water colors on paper just for practice.

Hope ya feel better soon.

I am so bored after sitting here for roughly six weeks at home following my motorcycle accident I actually took out an airbrush and contemplated painting on the LAV-25 that I need to finish. I even had the paint and thinner out but alas I didn't paint. Maybe tomorrow. Indifferent
