Painting a bucket

I have used MM Metalizer Aluminum to paint buckets,followed by some washes

Thanks for the suggestions guys.  Think I'll try the spray galvanizing, after all, if it melts I have a couple of spares.

And yeah, it better than kicking it!!

And remember, no matter how poor a job you do in painting the bucket, it will always be better than kicking it.

I often use regular auto primer on styrene, and usually do not have a problem.  I have not used galvanized primer, but you might test a piece of scrap with that primer and give it a try.  Also, you might try priming with regular auto primer and then a coat of the galvanized stuff.
