Windex will take it off no matter how well its cured.

No ELO available here, but I have succesfully used oven cleaner (after it was suggested by Aaron Skinner) to strip a model of (most of the) paint.

It doesn't harm the plastic, but it smells like hell, so do it where you can ventilate.

I have used Testor's ELO remover with good effect & no harm tp the plastic.

Is anybody aware of a product that will remove dried polyscale acrylic paint?

I heard windex will strip acrylic paint but I don't know if that works after it has dried.
